The goodies I've added to enhance and personalize my ride:
A custom audio system to replace the factory junk, see my stereo page for full details and pictures.
Lund "Interceptor" Bug Shield/Deflector.
I purchased this from Cabelas for around $70. It attaches to the truck using the stock screws that hold the grill and weather stripping to the hood/fenders. I prefer this method to the 3M Adhesive (tape) method some other manufactures use as it allows you to remove the shield or reposition it if needed.
Mopar Splash Guards (Mud Flaps)
I got these from Dodge-Parts.net for $60 total (four flaps) to protect the front and rear lower-side panels of the truck from rock chips and road grime. They are custom fit and molded to go around the fender flares nicely. Please note that the fronts and rears are different! Installation was easy with the included directions, but removing the rear wheels is necessary. You can put the front ones on without removing the wheels, but it's a bit tricky. The flaps are plain black (but can be painted) and have the Ram's head logo embossed on them. Do not worry... the logo is small and does not stand out like sore thumb (thankfully).
Window Tint
Lumar 15% on the front driver & passenger windows plus the rear window to the match the factory tint found on the rear driver & passenger windows in the Quad Cab. From the outside it matches perfectly, but from the inside the 15% is a touch darker than factory which I now believe must be 20%. It cost $80 and came with a lifetime guarantee from a local stereo / alarm / tint shop - it took them about 45 minutes to do the job.
Coming soon...
